Stream Playlist on SharePoint

Microsoft Stream is making it easier to publish playlists on SharePoint Online pages. Thanks to a new Stream web part, users can embed playlists in a grid/theatre layout or a list layout.

Teams’ Pre-Join Screen Upgrade

Microsoft Teams for Windows and Mac has a treat for internal participants. The pre-join screen now shows you the meeting details like the title, start/end times, and the number of participants. No more guessing games.

OneDrive Template Magic

OneDrive for Web is stepping up its game! Now, when you hit the “Add new” button, you’re not just faced with a blank file. Instead, you get to pick from a variety of top-notch templates for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. It’s all about boosting your productivity and sparking your creativity.

Power Platform Updates

Power Apps Portals is introducing new capabilities to create external-facing portals and websites using low-code tools.

Power Automate is integrating AI models built using AI Builder into cloud flows for intelligent automation scenarios.

Power Virtual Agents bots can now handle voice conversations across multiple channels like Microsoft Teams, websites, etc.

Microsoft Viva

Viva Learning

Viva Learning is enhancing its synergy between the webapp and the team’s app, making it user-friendly.

Engage Answers

Engage Answers is introducing a feature for premium users to upload documents and use AI to generate Q&A pairs from that content. This fosters active engagement and interactive conversations and makes it easier to retrieve and reuse generated answers.

Viva Goals

Viva Goals is introducing check-in templates. Team owners and admins can specify a template for check-ins, and goal owners can use these templates when making check-ins on their goals.

Copilot Updates

Copilot is expanding its language support to over 100 languages for natural language queries and document understanding across Microsoft 365 apps. You can use Copilot in Outlook to connect to and reason across your enterprise data. Plus, Copilot can now ground prompts in local files on your device for richer conversations.

Azure Updates

Microsoft is introducing Azure Verified Modules, pre-configured Azure Resource Manager modules that are verified by Microsoft for security, compliance, and consistency. Azure Confidential Ledger is a new ledger service that provides a scalable and secure platform for multi-party collaboration on sensitive data while maintaining data confidentiality
